All entries must be Literature. No fanfiction nor will visual poetry be accepted.
All entries must be made specifically for this contest and this contest alone. All entries must include a link to this journal in the author's comment. All entries will abide by DeviantART's rules and regulations. Anyone who is in the judging panel can not enter the contest. Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation are required (unless incorrect spelling/grammar/punctuation is intended for a poem). One entry per contestant; no collabs allowed. Literature cannot exceed 2,500 words. Word count required in your author's comment. Mature Content tagged works will be accepted. You must be a member of #Horror-Writers-Unite to participate. We must have at least six contestants at least to keep the 1-3 place options open. Five contestants will be the minimum in which there will only be a first place and honorable mentions. Special note that not all criteria in judging will go to the 'scariest/goriest' ideas. There is more to horror/fears than that principal.Submitting
To submit your entry, please be sure first that all required information is where it should be and that you have followed the guidelines and rules set. You will then submit your work to the Personal Hell Contest folder. Your submission will be checked for proper inspection of the rules before it is accepted.
Please remember that all submissions are due by January 01, 2013 at 1:00am Central U.S. Time. The folder will be permanently closed after this date.
